when that is said is it not horsepower it depends on but trock, the most trucks in Europe have from 360 Hp to 500 Hp in the real world and they can pull the most trailers without any problems. #1. TwinShadow Jul 2, 2015 @ 3:24pm. Volvo and Scania are the two trucks that have the most powerful engines. Volvo is 750 HP, while Scania is 730 HP.

I bought a truck and had limited funds so settled on a cheap Mercedes model with 460 hp. I was towing a heavy load and noticed extremely slow acceleration. So much so, that I was worried about the hills common in Italy and dreaded toll booths. Other than improving the hp, what other factors can improve acceleration? Does transmission or chassis configuration make a difference?
Euro Truck Simulator 2. And when i leaving the acceleration pedal, my truck make auto brake. How i disable it? Thanks < > A mostrar 1-12 de 12 comentários
You will need the highest rpm engine and the lowest gear ratio transmissionXdifferential, but that would lower your acceleration and max speed on hills/with heavy load. Heavy and unstable trailers are usually more profitable. It would look like this: Gear ratio: 11.96-0.78. Differential: 2.80.
1. shouldn't matter too much but 6x4 might give better traction while increasing weight 2. for top speed only the highest gear's transmission ratio is relevant but don't forget to multiply with the differential ratio since that can vary between different gearboxes -> best choice for Scania S is GRSO 905 while best acceleration at lower speeds might require the 6 speed transmission
